Band of Cyclopes

Being short on time these days, more than usual, I started this page with few splotches of watercolor. Bands rather. Then I had "visions" again and here is the result - an orchestra of one-eyed animals, a band of cyclopes!

Walk on the Lachine Canal

In between two outpours, I tried a new experiment. I parked the car in front of the place where I will be moving and I walked from there to Atwater Market. It took me about 40 min, which was to be expected as there are about 4 km door-to-door. Last time I walked on the bike path was about 5-6 years ago... I took some pictures on the way:.

The previous tenant left me a "present" - a toaster and a waffler :) Work on the place will start in few days. That garage roof will be changed, the kitchen redone ... busy,busy,busy!

How many animals do you see?

I made another spread in the ROD journal - based on an exercise from Carla. It was easy, fun and very relaxing.

I should have probably work some thicker lines here and there...but maybe next time.

Have cake

Flower doodles...and no cake for me. I am trying to follow P90X. This winter was a killer for my running form and now I have to lose weight asap to start training for the fall marathon.
